December 2011 donation

On Tuesday, 12/13/2011, four of our members went to the Orlando Veterans' Nursing Care Center to donate quilts for our annual charity event.Donna, Linda, Leslie and Beth took 27 handmade quilts and 3 crocheted blankets to the center, and passed them out to resident veterans.  The quilts were well received, and "made the day" for a number of the residents.It was a wonderful feeling to do this for our vets, and I will remember it for a long time.
