Interested in running for a board position? Please review the position responsibilities on the OMQG website under the ABOUT US tab or click HERE.  The elected board positions are President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer; all other coordinators are committee chairs and will be selected by  the incoming board. The deadline to become a nominee is January 7.  All nominees will be asked to introduce themselves at our January meeting.  Voting will take place at our February meeting by written ballot, and new officers will be announced at the end of that meeting.  Absentee ballots will be available via email from Jan 26-Feb 2 (dates approximate).  Email Karol or Julia to get an absentee ballot.

Please contact the election committee or any board member if you are interested or have questions.

As elections mark a new year for our guild, I thought it would be interesting to find out if our members make any quilting new year resolutions.  Do you make a list of projects you plan to make in the upcoming year?  Do you resolve to become more involved in guild activities?  Are there new techniques or classes you want to learn/take in 2015? It could be this is the time you decide to start your own blog, pledge to blog more or just plan to comment more on your favorite blogs.  Maybe your New Year's resolution is to not make any more resolutions.  We want to hear from you.  Tell us what your quilty resolutions are for 2015.  The Random Number Generator will choose a winner in early January.
